# Kronolog

> Offline Mac time tracker for freelancers and consultants who invoice hours. Capture scheduled screenshots locally, review them later, then log and export billable time / timesheets. Screenshots never leave the device. One-time $20 lifetime license.

Kronolog is a macOS app (Windows and Linux planned; separate licenses per platform). There is no account, no cloud sync, and no telemetry after activation. The only network use is one-time license activation and optional user-initiated update checks. Core workflow: capture screenshots on a schedule → review later → log time → export (CSV, Excel, or JSON).

Screenshots stay on disk and never leave the computer. After payment, a license key is emailed; enter it on first launch, then the app works offline. A license covers one device (currently macOS), is non-transferable, and includes future updates for that platform — Kronolog will not move to a subscription. Refunds are available within 14 days if the license has not been activated yet.
